Rite Aid Trips (5/8/11)

Our three trips to Rite Aid were an $7.06 money maker (before tax).

Trip #1:

What we did:

     Gillette Fusion ProGlide Razor Kit, $4.99 (normally $12.99, and $12.99 this week, but I took advantage of them not taking their signs down!--They were on sale for $9.99 and they took the $5 that was an +UP Reward off)

     Breathe Right Strips (10 ct), $3.99 (normally $5.49)

     Carefree Pantyliners (20 ct), $1 (normally $1.49)

     Stopain, $6.99, (normally $11.99)

     Total after sales, before coupons: $16.97 (+tax) (normal price would have been $31.96)

Coupons used:

     $4/1 Gillette Fusion ProGlide

     FREE (they took the full $5.99 max off) Breathe Right Strips (10 ct)

     $1/1 Carefree

     $3/$15 purchase (Rite Aid Survey coupon from bottom of receipt)

Paid AFTER coupons: $2.98 (+tax)

Got back:  $1 +UP Breathe Right Strips; $6 +UP Stopain; Survey for a new coupon for $3/$15

Total PROFIT after +UPs:  -$4.02 (+tax) and $3/$15 coupon

Trip #2:

What we did:

     Breathe Right (Extra) Strips (10 ct), $3.99 (normally $5.99)

     Tylenol Precise Pain Relief Cream, $5 (normally $7.99)

     Total after sales, before coupons: $8.99 (+tax) (normal price would have been $13.98)

Coupons used:

     FREE (since I had no total and didn't know they'd take the $5.99 max off, had to be lowered to the $3.99 b/c I had no total) Breathe Right Strips (10 ct)

     $5/1 Tylenol Precise Pain Relief Product

Paid AFTER coupons: $0 (+tax)

Got back:  $1 +UP Breathe Right Strips; Survey for a new coupon for $3/$15

Total PROFIT after +UPs:  -$1 (+tax) and $3/$15 coupon

Trip #3:

What we did:

     Breathe Right Strips (10 ct), $3.99 (normally $5.49)

    Stopain, (4) $6.99, (normally $11.99)

     Total after sales, before coupons: $31.95 (+tax) (normal price would have been $53.45)

Coupons used:

     FREE (they took the full $5.99 max off) Breathe Right Strips (10 ct)

     $3/$15 purchase (Rite Aid Survey coupon from bottom of receipt)

Paid AFTER coupons: $22.96 (+tax)
